From Decatur High School

One of our female students was missing school so she could work, and often arrived late because she had to drive her younger sibling to school. Meanwhile, her mother was working two jobs to support the family. We were able to assist this student with many of her class fees using Haas funds. The family has since made other arrangements for transportation for the younger sibling, and our student is currently on track to graduate.
